Puppy Power 6 Week Training Course

Welcoming a puppy into your family is exciting and fun but don’t be fooled! That little ball of cuteness will grow and when it comes to puppy training getting the foundations in place and making sure you start on the right foot is key.  Our mission is to empower you with the knowledge and tools to get your lives together started on the right foot!

Our Puppy Power Course is a six week course training course designed to help get you started and set you and your furry friend on the right path.  This course is suitable for any breed of dog up to 9 months old and highly recommend for both new and experienced dog owners.

Each week we will embark on a new training topic focusing on the most common issues new or experienced pup owners may face.  Over the six weeks we will cover such topics as –

• Foundation Training for you and your pup
• Socialisation – we always build in some playtime into class!
• Guidance on toilet training, biting and other undesirable behaviours
• Lead handling techniques & loose lead walking
• Focus & Impulse Control
• Recall – Off lead recall and an effective return in distracting or potentially dangerous situations
• And of course some fun games to play with your pup along the way!

What can you expect from our training sessions?

1. **Learn Essential Training Techniques:** We will guide you through proven methods to teach your dog.

2. **Foster Positive Behaviour:** We focus on positive reinforcement techniques that create a nurturing environment.

3. **Build a Stronger Bond:** As you and your dog work together, you'll strengthen your connection.

4. **Socialise Your Dog:** Interacting with other dogs and owners in a controlled setting will help your dog become more comfortable and well-behaved in various situations.

5. **Judgement Free:** We don’t judge, all dogs and people are differnet and are at different stages in their journey, we are here to help and guide not judge!

6. **Have Fun:** Training should be an enjoyable experience for both you and your dog. We believe in making learning a fun adventure for all!

As with all our classes space as limited to allow us to maximise our time with you so there will be no more than 6 dogs in each class and those dogs you meet week one will be your classmates for the course!

Our venue is located just outside Harpenden on the edge of the Luton Hoo Estate and offers a peaceful, secure, and safe environment for our dogs to train.

We also offer a new puppy consultation where we come and meet you before or shortly after the pup’s arrival to help you get set up in the home and guidance on what you can expect so do get in touch to find out more.
